Emre Aytugar

After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2002, he worked as a volunteer assistant at Istanbul University Oncology Institute Tumor Pathology and Oncologic Cytology Department between 2002-2003. In 2003, he started his doctorate education at Marmara University Department of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology. In 2009, he completed his doctoral education with the thesis titled "Comparative evaluation of hla subtypes, interleukin-2, interleukin-6 and t-regulatory cell values, which are possible etiological factors in individuals with and without recurrent aphthous ulceration Behcet's disease" and was awarded the titles of PhD and specialist. After completing his military service as a Specialist Dentist Ensign and Lieutenant at Istanbul Haydarpasa GATA between 2010-2011, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Departments of theFaculty of Dentistry of Istanbul Aydin University and Bezmialem Vakif University between 2011-2016. In 2016, he completed his education at RWTH Aachen University, Aachen Dental Laser Center and was awarded the Laser Therapy Mastership Diploma in Dentistry. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2020. Assoc. Prof. Emre AYTUGAR has been working as a faculty member at Izmir Katip Celebi University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology since 2017. He is currently studying Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. Assoc. Prof. Emre AYTUGAR has over 100 international/national articles and scientific activities and over 200 international/national citations.
