Aslihan Usumez

She graduated from Hacettepe University,Faculty of Dentistry in 1996. She completed PhD thesis in Department of Prosthodontics in 2001.She was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2001, as Associate Professor in 2005, and as Professor in 2010. In 2008, she was awarded as "The Young Scientist of 2008" by The Turkish Dental Association. In 2012, she completed master's degree in "Laser in Dentistry" at RWTH Aachen University. She currently executes as the assistant editor for the journal of "Lasers in Dental Science". She has over 100 scientific articles published in domestic and foreign journals, book chapters, oral and poster presentations. She also has awards and travel stipends from international congresses. She does courses on "Laser Applications in Dentistry", "Smile design and Porcelain Lamina Veneers", "Implant Prosthetics". She is married and has 2 children.
