Huseyin Kurtulmus

After graduating from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1998; He completed his doctoral studies with the thesis study "Prosthodontic Applications in the Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea" between 1999-2004 at Ege University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Prosthodontics. He is a dentist and researcher who has the feature of being the first doctoral thesis subject scientifically in Turkey in 2004. In 2014, he was entitled to the title and authority of Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Kurtulmuş is a member of Turkish Prosthodontics and Implantology Association (TPID), Turkish Sleep Research Association (TUAD), Turkish Sleep Association (Uyku-Der), European Sleep Research Society (ESRS), Aesthetic Dentistry Academy Association (EDAD) and European Academy Dental Sleep Medicine (EADSM). He is an ITI İzmir Study Clup Member and was appointed as Co-Director in January 2018. As a speaker who has given lectures in many congress organizations, seminars in TDB rooms, and courses in many private dentistry continuing education centers since 2016, he now attends the same course training at Istanbul Dental Academy under the name of sleep and respiratory prosthodontics (from diagnosis to treatment in sleep apnea-snoring). role and dentistry practices, sleep bruxism-jaw joint disorders-myofascial pain syndrome management and occlusion disorders, vertical dimension regulation in the vertical direction). In March-2020, he was promoted to 'PROFESSOR' in the same university, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics.Prof. Dr. KURTULMUŞ still continues his research and clinical studies in the dental clinic (Alsancak/İZMİR) and IAU-Dentaydın (Florya/İSTANBUL). He is married and has a daughter.
